This will be the start of progress tracking for my 2025 ORP build. Posting the pictures of what she looked like when she left the dealership and will post a picture with details of each addition or modification I do. Currently have a lot of ideas of what I'd like to do and I will add a list of the things I have in mind at the moment but I am certainly open to recommendations, especially for specific parts, so if there is something on the list and you would like to suggest which one(s) to get, or things that aren't on the list, please feel free to let me know. I'm always open to suggestions, information, or constructive criticism.

- Roof rack (full)
- Interior rear window molle panels with light bar (or 10 4" lights)
- Trailer-hitch modular spare tire rack
- Rear hatch ladder (wittle wadder lol)
- lift (nothing crazy but specifics undecided)
- Ditch lights
- Wheels (Absolutely HATE silver or chrome wheels so the ones on there currently have GOT to go)
- Wheel offset spacers
- CPLT Intake

Possible additions I'm considering:
- Front or rear bumper replacement
- Gull wing for rear windows (?)
- Pro Grille (?)
- snorkel exhaust

I've yet to see any sites or stores selling things like the pro grille or the gull wings for the new gen 4runners, but I have seen some for tacos so hopefully that means they'll be available soon.

Looks like we were twins before I started changing things.
An observation re: Spacers and non-chrome wheels: If you like the look of the flat black TRD PRO wheels (I do) the offset of +25 is 30mm (1.2") more than your stock +55. Might be enough to satisfy what you are aiming for - or look for other black wheels with even lower offset.
One caution: if you aim to put larger tires on (not on your list so perhaps not) be wary of larger tires with lower offset - increases potential for rub. The optional TRD Flat Black wheels are +45 offset - closer to the stock wheels and meant by toyota as a possible replacement.

pro grill would look nice. I swapped mine and feel pretty good about it, change was made at the dealership.

when you say change front and back bumpers, you mean upgrading all front grills to the pro, including added light bar?

Are you selling the 2ea roof rack cross bars?

That's some really solid advice and I hadn't considered larger tires but now that you mention it, that would probably look better with the rugged overland build I'm aim for. I do love the black TRD Pro wheels so if that saves me a buck, I'm not at all opposed to that idea.

Yours is gorgeous. Did you delete the mudflaps and the weird skirt on the bottom of the front bumper? I like your look much better so I'll probably get rid of those too.

Yeah the Pro grille looks a lot better. I would've swapped it then too if I had the option. And yes, I'd probably do the grille with the light bar, but the bumpers actually referring to the actual bumpers. Like a westcott or cali raised fabricated bumper with a winch or something like that. And yeah I'd sell the cross bars. I won't have any use for them after I get the new rack so they'd just go into my shed with all my other stock parts from previous builds lol

Didn't have mudflap option on the vehicle I got. (does have moonroof and aux switches which I am glad of but haven't used yet.) I remove the air dam when I go off-roading but put it back on for long highway trips - I think it makes enough of a MPG difference and easy on and off.

Here are PN for the two toyota black wheels:

PTR56-35242-F1Trd 18-In Flat Black Alloy Wheel

PT946-35240-2FTaco Trd Al Whl Flt

First one is the +45 offset option wheel - I found them for ~$1175 including shipping (4 wheels - you might want five) from Discount Parts Monster
Second one is the +25 offset TRD PRO wheel - I got it for ~$890 including shipping (4 wheels) from OEM Parts To You. (that is what you see in my profile pic)
In general, search on the PN and check shipping cost before making any decision.
Note that I did NOT comparison shop for non-OEM wheels that might have worked. Wanted Toyota.

If you go with the TRD PRO wheels, and do not lift the truck, limit yourself to 275/70R18 tires. I have 285s and had to remove crash plate and bend up air dam screw tab and still have some a bit of rubbing - I'm switching to the +45 offset with my large tires for offroading and snow and will be putting OEM tires on PRO wheels for daily driving and highway. Handing down OEM wheels to my son for his 5G SR5.
