2025 Lexus GX550 22" wheels. Will they fit 6th gen 4Runner?

Hello. First post here. Recently bought a TRD sport and not too fond of the 20” TRD wheels on it.

Found some 22” GX550 wheels/tires for sale and wondering if they just bolt on my SUV with no issues.

currently have 20” 265/55 tires

the Lexus wheels are 22” 265/50 tires.

i mean technically they should be a plug and play install, since they all use the same specs across toyota and lexus.

the only issue is the extra 2 inches in wheel height.

since toyota 4runner doesnt have a 22in tire, we dont know the oem size that would be equivalent to keep the speedometer in spec and actually fit since the offset and et are way different.

but hey you can be the guinea pig so to speak and report back

I'd think they would fit. As Nodak said, mounting specs same and offset very similar. The diameter is 32.4" vs the stock at 31.5", but the 4Runner Off Road variants come with 265/70R18's that are a little larger at 32.6", so should be plenty of clearance.

If you do switch, your spare won't be the same size as the stock tires any more (I think 4Runner spare for 20" wheels is a steel 245/75R17) so you may need to swap that too (or place only on front wheel and stick to 2wd if you do use it).

Not sure your plans for on vs off-road and preference on apperance, but another option to look at is take-off wheels from 2024+ Tacomas. Plenty of essentially new 18" and 17" options around at good prices that would be more flexible than 22" size if you want to use other than on-road.

I’ll find out in the next couple of day how good they fit . Scored these for $900! Barely used.. lug nuts, wheel lock and TPMS still on there.
