Just drove from Destin fl.to bentonville Arkansas today. Currently enjoying that post Drive beer.I Hit 7k miles today and going to do some mntn biking tomorrow then off to Denver. Stashed the new wheels and tires at the house there . Luckily my wife did not find them. Just so much easier dealing with it after everything‘s already installed and you idiotically hope they don’t notice. Am I the only one who thinks like that.? I Will get them slapped on, 295 recons and volks and the OTT tune. Then I’m just gonna see the difference mpg and feel driving back to St Simons island Ga. That bumper and light bar is next.

Amazing build and inspiring. Having 295s any rubbing at speed bumps while wheels turned? I’m getting 295-70-18 Toyo RT on my stock trd pro wheels today and hoping removal of the mud flaps and crash plate will do it for me as well.

Thank you, I appreciate the kind words. No rubbing issues at all and I don’t even have my lift yet. Just removed the crash plates and no issues. Just be aware that I believe the RTs are heavy and E loads. The ride will be extremely rough. Just an FYI.

Not at the moment. The holes on the bumper are slightly off from the frame holes. It will
take a little bit of drilling to open the holes to match up. I may or may not put it on.

Curious what is your gas mileage. I got a the TRD Pro and I only changed the wheel/tire combo nothing else.. 295/70 17 Ridge Grapplers .. getting like 16mpg.. thinking its because of the 63lb tires and more aggressive tread. Did anyone get 23mpg with a stock TRD Pro set up. Wondering if switch to a 48lb 285/70 17 Recon Grappler I would get closer to 20mpg

I'm getting bout the same with the 295/70/18s and I have the SL loads so they're only 53 lbs. I'm getting about 16.9 mpg with 91 octane. Nobody is getting 23 on a TRD Pro. Those are just stated numbers. I live in Socal and do alot of street driving but even on the freeway, it's not much better...

i just installed on my trd pro. Install video coming soon. I opted for no light bar but put a warn 12k lb winch. The light bar bole is perfect cause it allows me to get my hands up to the winch to release the winch clutch.
Yeah, I understand. My remote worked all of about 15 seconds. I did have the light installed and can’t get to the clutch or hard wire the remote without removing the grille entirely. I don’t know yet if it’s a short or if it’s the remote of the Warn winch. They are apparently notorious for going bad. We will get it squared away though. There’s a way to relocate the control box under the hood or mount in front of the radiator, so it looks like that will be my next mod. 🙄

Do yourself a favor and order a pack of those plastic button fasteners. I’ve already lost two of those just trying to figure out how I am going to make all of this work.
