I love your setup, this is a great rig you have. I have a question. When seeing up the SDHQ power relocation kit, did you run the wire from the battery to the engine bay through the firewall? Rr did you follow the instructions in the kit and do the drilling etc. that it shows?

Hi @OvrLnd99,

Yes, it ran under the trim, as described in the install manual, and then punched through 2 holes that were drilled into the metal behind the driver-side wheel well to bring clean power up to the engine bay. You can see that in these photos. The connector hardware that mounts through the holes is solid weather-sealed with gaskets, so no concerns. I recommend doing it that way.

Man, what a nice buildout!

I'm curious how your increased electrical load impacts the system's DC to DC charging in regards to the 12v areas...Assuming you don't have an alternator. I have a few things, but nothing close to what you have, and I'm seeing some limitations (anecdotal comments elsewhere) when looking at adding just a decent amp for a subwoofer. That didn't track with me, but electrical conversations usually have me out over my skis pretty fast.

Also...Where did you get your factory replacement switches (like the Flux Capacitor one)? Do they match the factory colors/light intensity? I'd like to replace my Aux switches with actual named switches for the things I install.
