Every Chrysler product I have ever owned eventually started rattling, squeaking, clunking and vibrating. At around 30,000 all the luxury and quietness quickly went to shit!
And every Toyota I’ve owned each had their own rattles but lasted 2-300k with the basic maintenance. 🤷🏻‍♂️
6 of one, half dozen of the other. Unfortunately, there isn't a perfect brand or car out there. Would be nice if there was!

Hey Peter. There has been absolutely to regret at all on the Pro. If you've seen my replies, you would have seen how much I love the Pro. It's just my use case has changed and I think the RHO will fit it better. Thanks for your thoughts!
I understand. I was just teasing you and trying to be funny. This is a 4Runner forum, after all. Get whatever is best for you and best of luck to you.

You can get the bass rattle by the seatbelt fixed. My dealer said it was a loose wiring harness in the door and after they did what they did, no more rattle there. The other ones are still there at the moment...
Nice.! It’s at the dealer not getting a new starter, 2026 with 15,000 miles. I’ll see if they can checkout the rattle too.

Oof. Sure that's helping OP with his decision to get rid of his 4R 😂

🤣🤣🤣 right ? I’m just glad I was in my garage when I decided to stop working and not deep in the mountains. Although getting stranded in the mountains sounds kind of fun.

Both sides rattle in the 2027 Ram RHO.
I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure the 2027 Ram RHO’s haven’t hit the dealer lots yet. The earliest I’ve seen is in a week or two. Maybe there were a few issues like that in the ‘26’s?

I've owned almost every major brand and not a single one of the companies has been perfect. I've wrote off Dodge, and GM thanks to vehicles that just were terrible. Ford has moved way down my list. Nissan is completely off my list and Subaru is so so on it. Over all most of my Toyotas have done very well. I could have just gotten rotten luck and you could get decades of trouble free use out of a new Dodge (I mean Ram since they don't like to call their trucks Dodges anymore). What I can tell you is to get what you want and if it was a mistake move on. It's only money. In a few years the gen 6.2 4Runner should be out and hopefully it'll be a little more refined. So if you miss your 4R you can always buy a new one.

toyota is not immune to having a customer get a sub par vehicle. more so the last few years than before covid.

the odds are forever in your favor to go with toyota but never take it for granted it can and still happens you get a sour one.

edit : movie ref :ROFLMAO:
