FYI the 25 Land Cruiser engine cover fits the 25 4Runner hybrid. Since they’re the same engine it bolts right in. The bare engine look bugged me.

I bought the the same thing and ordered the 4.75" Toyota badge for it. My 4Runner is not in yet so I can't test fit. Everything fit okay?

Added Bump Stops to front. DBF17T on LC250/GX550 bracket. A little extra insurance for stock OME setup to help with weight of bumper and winch coming off steps/keep tires from contacting flare. Headed up to do the Alpine Loop on Sunday for a couple days and then on to Transfer Trail.

Do you have the full size spare tire? For some reason i can't remove the current rear tow hook(black). I don't have clearance to remove the inside screw. I was hoping I could just remove this rear tow hook without removing the spare tire.

I do have the full sized spare. If you use a short 17mm socket you can break that upper bolt loose then back it the rest of the way out using your fingers.

When reinstalling that bolt on the new recovery hook, thread it in by hand. When it gets hand tight, use a torque wrench and send her home. Theres just enough room there to get it done.

I think three bolts for mounting the cover brackets were securing other mounts but adding the brackets did not impact anything. The fourth one is added to an existing empty mounting hole. I installed it a while ago so going on memory. It was an easy install. Let comes with everything including easy to follow instructions. I'm pretty sure they have a video on YouTube.

I guess I'm asking if the cover will work either way.

It's gas only but I'm pretty sure it will fit the hybrid also. Victory 4x4 site should confirm fitment. I prefer this one to the plastic ones I've been seeing on this thread.

If you lower the spare it will give you more room.

Did the brackets come with hardware??

Installed a Rival skid plate and mudflaps. The mudflaps took a lot longer to do than the skid plate. All I have next is a Console Vault that Fedex is supposed to delivery on Sunday. They have a storewide 25% off everything sale. Better locks than the OEM and with the discount cheaper too.
