Rattle Driver Side When Music Turned Up

Hi Everyone.

When I get a few moments without the kids in the car, I turn up the music, but when I get a little bit of bass or thumping, there is a rattle on the driver side somewhere around my head, I can’t figure out exactly where the rattle is from.

Just wondering if anyone else has had a rattle in that area and if you were able to address it? There’s a lot of loose fitting panels around this area, and I’m just trying to narrow it down. Of course, I’m looking for a quick easy fix.

Not just loud music though--sometimes just a podcaster's voice sets off the rattle frequency.

Hello. There are plenty of threads on here about that issue. It was happening in my Pro and I was able to get it fixed it at the dealer. Essentially, there are a lot of wires and connectors running through the vehicle and in the door, they weren't properly affixed and when the volume goes up and there is a lot of bass, it rattles. The dealer made sure they were tied down correctly and I believe put additional material in there to ensure it wouldn't "buzz". It's been about 10,000 miles since it was fixed and haven't had any other issues.

This one solved it for me. I was also able to tighten down the other screws behind the door panel and it feels even more solid overall than it did prior.

I can replicate the vibration when I tap the door panel. Is this where other’s are hearing the vibration.
