Hi all! First time 4Runner owner, here. I bought this November 21 and love it. I got it back today after having Stek DynoMatte PPF applied. Lower bumper sections, flares and mirrors are gloss PPF. Ceramic tint all the way around.

Putting on Rally Armor flaps some time this week. Thinking about the NYTOP rock sliders next.

Sorry for the compressed video. I’m new here. 🤣

Looks good! Congrats. And good luck with the color black. lol, I’m too OCD for that color.
Thanks! It’s not really that bad with the DynoMatte, since it’s hydrophobic. My last vehicle was a black Subaru Outback with the same film.

Now BEFORE I had PPF applied to this, it was a disaster to keep clean.

Your TRD Pro looks sinister all blacked out 🤩

What ceramic tint % did you go with? Next mods planned?

Thanks! 50% tint on the windshield. 20% tint on front two windows. 5% tint on the rest.

I’ll probably get some NYTOP rock sliders next. Bigger tires when I need them.

I absolutely love it! I'm looking forward to pulling my little square drop trailer out west this summer. I had a '23 Outback Wilderness that was totaled while I was at a stop light in November. I was pretty bummed, but everything worked out!

Great! I feel the same about mine and so happy about getting a full PPF wrap as well. A big peace of mind!

That is a beautiful machine. I never thought of mixing matte PPF with gloss PPF. I think black is a perfect candidate for that creative approach and your rig proves it. (My PRO is Mudbath & PPF’d all over with gloss STEK.) Enjoy your new ride!

I appreciate it. There is an Underground Pro in here that did something similar. I was on the fence about leaving stuff gloss. The installer that did this has done a few of my cars and he suggested leaving the flares glossy and we went from there. He actually did a Mudbath a few weeks before mine and left those flares glossy, as well. I think with all black, the gloss makes the matte pop, and vice versa. I’m really happy with how it turned out! I take pride in trying to make my vehicles unique to me.
