Trailhunter Heritage Grill installed on ORP (TRD Off-Road Premium)

3+ hour install later… I got it done. Pro Grille, with matte black letter overlays, and AlphaRex fogs/sequential turn signals. All in all… I’d say worth it.

Maaaaaaaaan, this looks so good. The black on black looks fantastic with Everest. I actually like the gloss finish a lot too. Did you need using the Rave camera dummy and bracket?

Are the alpharex fogs at least as bright as the standard oems? Those look amazing too… this thread is not working out so well for my wallet.

And yeah, I bought the dummy camera and bracket and I was kind of annoyed, because I did exactly what they said in their install video and I had to Jerry rig it to make it work by cutting a portion of it.
I messaged them and they were like “well, it fit fine on mine”… lol

And I feel like the fogs are about the same… I just really like the sequential turn signals in sync with the regular ones. I think it’s cool af and not sure why Toyota didn’t think of something like that since they have something sequential on the tundra and the old Tacoma.

I’m right there with you. If they’re the same I’m super interested since you get a yellow option and the sequential turns. I was a little worried they wouldn’t actually be as bright with everything going on. Thanks!

Yeah it just sucks that you have to take basically the whole front bumper off and apart to get all of this to happen. What was Toyota thinking? Haha

Does anyone know if this Heritage Trailhunter grill will fit my Limited? I have the bronze accents already, but hate the chrome grill that comes on the limited. Yes, it has the 360 camera. I’m hoping for a direct fit.

Did you have to disconnect the battery before pulling the whole front off? If it’s Hybrid, do you just pull the negative on the 12v battery in the cargo area or do you have do something extra for the hybrid battery under the cargo floor too?

Rave seems to sell a plug ($12) that you can put on after the bumper and grille is put back on
