My ORP has the tow tech package with the digital rear view mirror. I guess I haven't gotten used to it yet since I still leave it in regular mirror mode most of the time. I don't like the digital view at low speeds or in stop and go traffic since it's a very zoomed in view for close things. Maybe if it had an automatic mode where you could set the digital view to come on at, for example, 35mph and above, I might leave that on all the time. I don't have many highway miles so far but it does seem to be a more useful view than the regular mirror at highway speeds.

How about other people with the digital rear view mirror...do you use it very often? Likes and dislikes?

its either on or off, no in between.

you can adjust the camera view of the digital rear view camera. i just changed the zoom level but left the left/right/up/down alone.

and trust me, it will take time to adjust since you have trained your brain to a regular mirror. the spatial awareness that you cant see the inside of the vehicle will take some time for your brain to adjust.

if you have kids in the back seat, then the digital mirror can be a blessing and curse.

1. you cant see the kids

2. if you have a loaded floor you cant see past the digital view is best
