Does anyone know if I have a completely stock Trailhunter can I put 275/70/18 mud terrain tires without rubbing?

Of course. I go with 275/70/18 and perfect no needs for any off set, cutting, trimming of anything. Take on the few times and no issues what so ever. I found a happy medium and between.IF you keep within the offset needed to accommodate that.
For example I have 285/70/R18 with a +18 offset and I can assure you that before my Westcott Designs kit on I was rubbing on the crash plates and fender liner when a dip was in the road
