Trailhunter tire upgrade - 275/70/18 Mud Terrain M/T on stock wheels?

Does anyone know if I have a completely stock Trailhunter can I put 275/70/18 mud terrain tires without rubbing?

You, should, be fine depending on the tire. I was running 275/70/18 BFG KO3s without an issue and they have some pretty aggressive side tread. Diameter was 33.19". As long as your choice is around that I would think you'd be alright. Spare tire fit fine too.

According to manufacturer. You can go up to 285/70/18 MAX without rubbing or any modifications.
IF you keep within the offset needed to accommodate that.
For example I have 285/70/R18 with a +18 offset and I can assure you that before my Westcott Designs kit on I was rubbing on the crash plates and fender liner when a dip was in the road

Of course. I go with 275/70/18 and perfect no needs for any off set, cutting, trimming of anything. Take on the few times and no issues what so ever. I found a happy medium and between.
