Yes so am I. I live in hilly socal and average around 22 driving conservatively. I am guessing you live somewhere flat2k miles. I am surprised at the MPG especially with the oversized tires.
some hills. I may have to do with elevation (7500’) and thinner air - less wind resistance.Yes so am I. I live in hilly socal and average around 22 driving conservatively. I am guessing you live somewhere flat
Hi Peter, don't mean to be rude but this is a thread for non-hybrid. Isn't the Max a hybrid? From my 2525 mile road trip a couple of weeks ago:
Off Road Premium iForce Max. Toyota cross bars with Thule Pulse 614 Medium 14 Cu Ft cargo box (only opens on passenger side). Left front grill goatee stock air flow dealy on for mileage. Total payload weight (inside and on cargo box) 715 pounds. Two 85 lb dogs in the cargo area. Drove in ECO mode the entire time.
Road trip only. Combo of two lane mountain and rural roads, interstates with 80 MPH limits, four lane divided and undivided.
Results: 2523.8 miles, 46:35 hours driving time. 21.6 MPG.
I wonder too my man, I wonder too. I finally put in a case with Toyota complaints to see if I can drive another one to compare. My stock ORP is getting 16-17 mpg. I wonder why our MGP is considerably less than others have posted. I have the Falken Wildpeak tires as well.
You're right. I missed that. I deleted my post.Hi Peter, don't mean to be rude but this is a thread for non-hybrid. Isn't the Max a hybrid?
