Hey I felt the same in my sr5 but I found the suspension broke in a bit around 2200 miles. Now it's still a "busy" ride but not so much harsh. My gut feeling is it'll continue to break in until 10k miles.
The highest I have seen is around 28-29 mpg on a highway trip. This is with a bike rack attached which might affect aero.
Has anyone done back to back testing with higher octane gas to see what the effect is?
Havent noticed it since my last post but I think manufacturing lubrication is a plausible explanation. It has happened intermittently since my ownership for the past 5 months.
Anybody have an sr5 with 10k miles and can chime in on if their ride quality has improved? I am at around 2200 miles and it feels like the suspension has gotten slightly softer. Might be imagining it or just getting used to the ride though.
Ive seen that video but I am just talking about on road performance. I actually notice harshness on the road in broken uneven areas of pavement where the left and right wheels aren't moving together.
I have heard just removing the rear makes little difference to the handling of the car.
