Here is the funny thing.. ITS ONLY A 1200 option direct from the dealer. So 800 for the module, 500 for the compressor and now I found out I need to order the trim panel. I'm already under water. FML

First: Very sorry about the struggles. But thanks for persevering through... I very much looking forward to seeing reports of your final success.

Question: Is it really an option that one could order for our TRD ORPs? I keep staring at the toyota build site and I can't find it. (Its not even on the insanely expensive 2026 Trailhead package which seems a sin since its such a natural fit with the other things they are offering there).
OTOH I think someone told me their TRD PRO was optioned with it and they (IIRC) said it was a factory option. I guess my question is moot but am still curious why the compressor does not appear to show up on the Toyota build site as an option (even for TRD PRO) - or if it does, why I can't find it:>)

Hope you don't give up yet.
Repeating some details here that build on a post from Corey above where he said: " After months of research, these are the 2 Part #s that I am 99% certain are what we need."
4RUNH Obtrifr Kit - Toyota (PT949-89241) - MSRP $1475 (on line at <$1200)
4RUN Compressor On B - Toyota (PT949-89240-AB) - MSRP $697.10 (on line at <<$500)

And from your posts above: you bought PT949-89241 (4RUNH Obtrifr Kit - which you said is " just the front control module") for ~$800.
And you have received it.... Could you take a photo?
Assume one issue is that it may (?) not include the necessary trim piece (shown in photo below) that would cover up any cut you make in the plastic? If that is the case then in addition to the compressor itself you/we would need to find the trim piece part number (and then also the hoses which can probably be procured aftermarket).
BUT I'm hoping that what you got includes the trim piece and if it does than perhaps things are not so grim. (but I will observe that the price you paid is WAY less than MSRP and I'm still seeing PT949-89241 for $1189 with almost 20% off MSRP. (Obtrifr Kit)
I still think you can make this work... maybe with a Dremel tool to cut a perfect circle in the plastic? Does depend on exactly what is in the package you got and what the opening needs to be - a photo of the back and front of the unmounted control module might shed some light for those of us considering this mod - and maybe help you think through it. (e.g., is it obvious how the control panel would connect to the compressor behind it - electrical and air?)

You've made real progress compared to me - hope you do persevere.
Thanks

Yes, the first part I ordered was PT949-89241 (4RUNH Obtrifr Kit) and it come's with the trim for the unit. I was told from Parts that that part number was for everything including the compressor. I now ordered the compressor. The trim piece I'm looking for is the Left Rear Corner Panel Trim piece. And when you look on Toyota parts all those trim pieces look the same. The issue is if you look at the photos, my trim piece is the top one and I need the bottom one to make this work:

Ouch.... Looks like you have non-hybrid and I don't know that it even has the connector like my ORP Hybrid. See my photos from post above that show the connector:
... Photos below show the storage area/hybrid battery vent on my ORP. There appears to be a white connector where the compressor assembly would plug in - and there seems to be space for the compressor behind the hybrid vent pipe.

Bottom line: you may be out of luck. But please do post photos of the part you bought - I might take it off your hands if you determine (as I now suspect) that you don't have the wiring to make it work.

Yes, I have the non-hybrid TRD ORP. Here are the photos you asked for and if you want it just pay me what I paid.

Wow… does look like that white 4 prong plug has a place on that thing. 😳 I have a non hybrid too so I guess the dream is dead… for now.

Well I’m thinking if the compressor comes the connector wires, I could put the compressor where the jack is stored and behind the fake speaker. Then if I don’t have the right power connector I can tap into the 120 plug right there. Also, I can put the controller box in the larger square area of the trim piece.

Thanks very much for the photos - helps tremendously. I am very tempted to jump on your offer (since it would seem you got a great deal), but I'm going to hold off for a bit as I was gifted from Woflbox a compressor/jump starter that has worked great for me in airing back up so my need is not as acute as it was, and I'm going to do a bit more research on the compressor this would connect to. If you cannot get a full refund on return and are willing to ship to VA I will keep noodling it. And maybe someone else here will beat me to it.
Thanks again and sorry this appears to be a dead end for you. I'll reach out by DM if I decide to take your offer and we can figure out how to make it work

@gydooya - thank you for the pictures, part numbers, and details. Please share pictures of the compressor when you receive it. I’m curious of the size and where the compressor mounts.

Is there any chance this control center could be used with an aftermarket compressor? I’m wondering if this part controls the venting for airing down and just sends a 12v out when it wants the compressor to kick on. If thats the case I don’t think it would need to be an OEM compressor. Heck, then you’d only need 12v running to this thing and a big enough feed for the compressor and you’re in business.
