I don’t know about that being the case since it was a 1200 option on the TRD Pro. But if that’s true it’s a score for new buyers. It looks like this will cost me $1800 including taxes for the compressor and the trim panel
I got back from dealership and we found the trim part number 64730-35230-C0 However, there are 3 versions of the trim and you need to make sure you get the right one, FYI the trim pieces are the exact same size. I'm still wondering if I can just move the controller forward on the trim panel and...
It's all there I already looked. My issue was the trim panel which Toyota doesn't sell and the part's department couldn't even find a part number. (Which is crazy) But now the sell the whole kit (Controller, Compressor and accessories) I originally brought them separately and couldn't figure out...
Exactly the issue I had the first go around and you can't buy that trim piece for some reason. However, I think there is room in the front section of the trim panel for the controller to fit. I'm heading up to the dealership today and I'll let you know.
I saw and I even called the guy who made to video to double check that this will work for my TRD ORP non-hybrid and was told it would. So me being a glutton for punishment and a never say die attitude I went and did this :-)
Well, I called the guy who did the video and left a message for him to call me or email to let me know if this will definitely work with a TRD ORP non-hybrid. I also spoke to his parts department and they said it will. So since I'm a glutton for punishment...look what I did :-)
Well since I am a glutton for punishment, I called the guy who made the video and spoke to their parts department and was told this will fit on my ORP. I also left him a message to call me back or shoot me an email about the rear panel issue. Then I went to Nucar and ordered the full kit for...
Ok here is the update.. So I brought all the parts but the trim panel since Toyota doesn't sell it in the parts dept. So I returned everything and gave up. Now this video posted and you can buy the full kit using Part number PT-949-89241. Nucar has it for $1,100. I'm just confirming if you...
Here is the issue! I had all the parts both the compressor and the computer. The part you can't buy is the trim panel and unless you have a hybrid, the right rear panel is different on a non-hybrid and there is no where to install the this.
It's a mess and you are correct. However, you can't get the side panel trim piece as there is no part number that Toyota parts can find. So after spending $1600 (did get it returned) and wasting days working with my local Toyota Dealership, I gave up.
Well I’m thinking if the compressor comes the connector wires, I could put the compressor where the jack is stored and behind the fake speaker. Then if I don’t have the right power connector I can tap into the 120 plug right there. Also, I can put the controller box in the larger square area of...
Yes, the first part I ordered was PT949-89241 (4RUNH Obtrifr Kit) and it come's with the trim for the unit. I was told from Parts that that part number was for everything including the compressor. I now ordered the compressor. The trim piece I'm looking for is the Left Rear Corner Panel Trim...
Here is the funny thing.. ITS ONLY A 1200 option direct from the dealer. So 800 for the module, 500 for the compressor and now I found out I need to order the trim panel. I'm already under water. FML
It's ridiculous! I just ordered the compressor, for $500 including tax. So lets see what happens next because I think I need to order the trim panel too.
