What’s up everybody.
Got these carbon wide body fender for NYTOP and they are BEAUTIFUL!
Real carbon fiber, not that fake painted stuff
The site had options for matte finish, gloss and just black.
I believe the fender are about 1.5” wider than the standard, they are pricey but they definitely add a more aggressive look, especially if you’re going with spacers, bigger tires etc.
As for my setup, so far I’ve added these fenders with some PPF to make them last a while longer. I’ve done the OTT tune and it’s a night and day difference.
Added the SXTH Element intake system and it sounds so good. Little more growl from the motor but a huge noticeable change in air flow. You can hear ur turbo spool up very clearly, and when you let off the accelerator it sounds like a blow off valve.
I suggest and recommend everybody with the new 6th gen to do the tune, and add the intake system as well. (Yes technically the tune COULD void ur warranty, but I’ve had mine at Toyota a few times and they haven’t said anything) as far as I know, they can’t tell it’s tuned and it’s all within safety standards for our ECU so it won’t blow ur engine up. definitely a nice increase in power and torque. If you love your 4Runner now, just tell me what you think after the tune and intake. Well worth it, trust me.
Attached is some videos and pictures of my rig so far. It’s hard to get a good shot of my carbon as I’m not the best photographer but I do have some professional shots taken I’ll add as well.
Looking forward to seeing everyone’s build and learned some new things, I am coming from owning a 5th gen and I didn’t know if I’d like this new model as much but it’s definitely way better.
(Please excuse the music in the video to show my carbon fenders, best video I have in good lighting)
