Is anyone else having a different odometer reading when they start their 4runner? When I start mine it reads 12559 miles but when it running it reads the real odometer reading witch is 3045 miles.

Mine tells me mileage til next service on startup then switches to actual mileage. Possibly that, but 12k miles doesnt sound like a proper service interval

That should be the miles left on your suggested service interval. There is a little wrench that should show up next to that number when it pops up, and then the actual ODO reading shows and the wrench icon goes away. That's a very odd number to be showing, though. The default should start at 10k miles, so something seems to have been set weird in yours. I think you can manually change/set the interval if you dig deep enough into the settings on the dash.

That's how mine is set. My actual mileage is just under 1000 miles so the next service is just over 9000, it does show a small wrench icon.
