Have a 25 Trailhunter. Last week, we had 16" of powder snow. Still very cold here in NE Pennsylvania. The issue is the gap on the front skid plate and the lower vent holes allowed the powder snow to blow into and between the skid plate packing around the front axle and oil pan. Couple of start-warmups and you now have a solid block of ice.

I am now trying to slowly thaw this out-not fun in 20 degree weather.

Top Picture after thawing it out for two hours. Ice packed completely in this area to just below oil filter

Middle picture is down toward oil drain plug

Bottom picture shows front plate and gap

I had a similar issue in Colorado in the mountains a few months ago. Stuck some foam rubber in the Gap and that did the job. It all melted when I got down to a lower altitude of 8,000 ft.

Had similar issue, didn't notice it until it melted just enough to start clunking around. Took it to the car wash and melted it... WCD sliders had about 4 inches thick of ice on the bottom.

Don't even get me started on how much ice will accumulate in the rails of a full roof rack if you don't get it out before it freezes.
