All,
Today was a good day, I had my wheels aligned.
I installed the ADO spacer eraser / front coil springs only. This coil replacement gave me 1.85" of front lift. Assuming it will settle down.
So the reason I am posting this along with the alignments results is because the New digital equipment the shop aligned my suspension with said that it is literally at the max of alignment specifications to maintain a well tracking Highway ride.
So the factory red bilstein's that came on my ORP paired with these ADO coils have a pretty good and solid Road feel. I have some pretty crappy roads that I frequent and was surprised at how they handled them in conjunction with the shocks.
My initial impressions of the new 4Runner off-road was that the shocks were crap with poor valving because of the constant buffeting.
But it doesn't seem to be that. It feels like the coils are more of the culprit.
After taking the factory coils out they are lighter then ADO coils.
So I'm pretty happy with the almost 2-in front lift and the mega cost savings.
On some of the ADO videos their technicians talk about this combination.
Hope this helps
