I finally got my TRD Off-Road Premium on 6/28.
Mine was built sometime in mid April and I placed a deposit on 4/28 after test driving a similar loaner 4Runner TRD ORP. Mine showed up at the Houston Port on 5/2. It was placed on QC hold on 5/15 with a TBD release date and my dealer couldn't give me any information. It was released on 6/21. My dealer told me they were waiting for a truck to pick it up on 6/23 for a delivery somewhere between 6/25-6/27. I picked it up and brought it home on 6/28 after checking over as much as I could and test driving it.

Congrats! It’s great that all of the ones on the holds have finally started moving and getting delivered!

With the vehicles starting to get delivered, has anyone checked to see if there were any changes to the air dam? I'm surprised no one's looked yet since that was one of the more popular reasons for the hold.

My Trailhunter went on hold the day before it was supposed to be delivered on 6/28. No one knows why and other Trailhunters have been delivered to dealers that arrived at the port after mine.

I just removed my Air dam. 9 bolts, all pretty tight. I asked my dealer yesterday when I took delivery if they had any insight on the hold, they didn’t know

I posted a week or so back that when I took mine off it was about 9 bolts and 3 had blue loctite on them. Not sure if the ones before the hold had that

My trailhunter arrived at port 6/2 and hasn’t moved since. It’s supposedly not on hold but doesn’t have dates. Do you know what port it’s at?

I was told mine is finally shipping soon after almost a month+ hold. Does anyone know how long it takes after that? I’m reading 4-6 weeks ? from port to delivery.

Depends on where it is and where your dealer is.

Really depends on so many factors. What port it will come into, where your dealer is located, whether it will have any sort of hold for QC or PIO. Ours was part of the massive QC hold placed in May, went under hold 5/15 (built just a few days before that), released 6/28 and notified 6/30 it was rail-bound, Portland to Kansas City, with an ETA of 7/14-31. Yesterday it was scanned again on the train in Montana - so it didn't move very quickly at all between the port and MT, but the dealer said she expects it to be here next week. The train cars get shuffled around at various rail classification yards on the way, then when they eventually arrive at the regional rail yard, move to a truck for delivery to dealer.

Yeah, I didn't get many details sadly. But it sounds similar to your massive QC hold around 5/15 also. I'm expecting to get an update near end of the month, hopefully. Thanks, and good luck to us all!

I switched dealerships after waiting a month. Called a Dallas dealership and their internet manager had a check in his hand and the 4runner delivered at my house in 48hrs. The other dealer near me in Katy i called the sales manager and told him he lost a sale bc ya'll don't want to hunt a 4runner down to sale. Told him i found one in Dallas and bought it. Then next day he sent me a text saying my underground TRDORP was on the lot. I sent a text back with my 4runner from Dallas in my garage...Too late!
They first told us a month then mid to late July before it gets to port....If there is another dealer you can leverage against the one you are using i would do it. I have no clue how the 4runner in Katy got miraculously delivered in two days rather than a month and half from now like they told me. I hate salesmen that do that not to mention the manager tossed his salesman under the bus while we were talking.

The fact that it got delivered 48 hours after is wild— unless coincidence. Sometimes I wondered if they’re holding on to it for whatever reason… last few months, I suspected might’ve been because of incoming tariffs/status/unknown. Then again, at the same time, these seem to be normal (mass qc holds).

It wasnt coincidence i can see what is at "the port" there were 5 underground TRDORP sitting in a Houston lot near a rail spur.
I ended up getting it from Dallas not the Katy dealership.. The dudes at Katy dealer had MY 4runner on the lot after he literally told me the day before he cant do anything to get it here faster. Dont lie to me when i can solve your problem you are having.
Find a good salesman and dealership...The Dallas dealer and salesman was the best took my trade in Yukon back to Dallas shipped my plates back to me and im good to go....Besides the damn water spots i cant get rid of off my windshield?

Just received message from dealer it’s getting delivered over the the next 2 weeks or less. It matched the spreadsheet that has also now been updated. Ordered 4/15, on hold since end of May so will be somewhere around 55 days or so from the time it hit the port to dealer. Another dealer told me based their experience it’s 60 days sometimes 90 days to clear and get delivered. Happy to see some movement.
