Westcott Preload Collar Kit - Keep Top Hats or no?

I'm getting the Westcott Preload Collar kit installed on my TRD Pro next week, and I've seen posts both for and against using the included top hats. I'm on the fence and would love to hear from someone who has the lift installed. Are you happy with the stance (with or without) and would you do it that way again?

I just installed the same kit on my Trailhunter and I kept the Top hats and I love the way it turned out. No complaints here !!!

Out of curiosity as the tires seem bigger than what can fit in the spare location, what did you do re said spare? How do you resolve a flat tire?

I currently left the stock set up in the spare position. Got my fingers crossed, no flats. Otherwise I'll call AAA...

I have their spacer kit and added the top hat. Make sure you order the correct parts! I had 3 people there tell me 3 different kits were needed/compatible/not compatible.
Overall I’m happy with the product and my ride feels more solid for some reason afterward. There are no torque specs included, so make sure you tightening everything down otherwise you’ll have a rattle like I did.

Getting different answers is definitely frustrating. Thankfully for the Trailhunter 2.5 kit, there is only 1 part number. The kit went on smoothly and I love the look and the ride. No complaints here on Westscott products !!!
