Can they not just run cables to the jump area in the engine bay? I heard you can install a switch hookup to that instead of having to run all the way back to battery.

I'd have to check with Warn's R&D, but my understanding is that they go all the way back to the battery for the winch draw protection... I'll get back to you once I get confirmation.

How did the mount work with the OEM skid plates or are you running another? I put the TRD aftermarket plate on mind and am wondering if that will work with the Warn mount.

I kept the OE skid plate and there was no issues with the installation...
I would presume the aftermarket one should work cause you are using the same mounting points..
Attached is a pic of my Trailhunter OE skid plate . Hope this helps..
