Trd sport hood to trd off road premium

Has anyone taken a trd sport hood and put in on a ORP? If so where do you get the hood? Was it a hard install? Also color match??? My ORP is underground but considering a black trd sport hood or would you match color? Thoughts ???

your hood will fly off due to the extra wind resistance that is caused by the the fake hood scoop

plus cause damage to your transmission due to the extra strain caused by the fake scoop. This is what my toyota dealer told me

It will definitely work. I think the hardest part is finding a sport owner to trade with though. I don’t have a link but others have sourced the parts and bought new I believe. I would personally color match and let the hood scoop stay black as the accent.

If you like the whole hood accent there’s also someone (I need to do better at remembering folks) on here that did a carbon fiber sport/pro style hood and it looks amazing. They ended up adding matte PPF, looks sooooooo good.
