Trd pro wheels on Trd ORP

I’m considering getting the trd pro wheels for my ORP. I love the poke on them but am scared to death it will tear up my paint. I know for sure I’d need the pro mudflaps but what about the stock fender flares are they enough to protect it? Or would I need to get fender flares too. Any help is appreciated. Also pics of how much poke I would have would be apprectied. TIA

The TRD ORP fender flares are not wide enough to fully protect your paint if you switch to TRD Pro wheels.

I have Pro wheels on my orp.
Yes the factory fender flares aren't going to give you the pro look, but to me they are fine and I personally think that most of your gravel dirt is going to come up when your wheels are turned so a proper splash guard mud flap or running board helps.

I have looked at the pro mud flaps on an orp with Factory fender flares and I personally feel and that's just me that they look a little hokey! Meaning they just look a little bit too big and stick out past the factory flares.
Personally if you're not going to go with huge tires, just stick with your factory mud flaps and there are a few aftermarket brands that offer a slim look with good protection. As far as poke goes on the wheels you actually get a wider stance and better handling. Factory 265 70 18 Michelin LTX tires. Nothing fancy a lot of ground pounding going on in my days.

I installed the TRD Pro wheels + TRD Pro wider mudguards. I have stock fender flares. I think it looks great! And the TRD Pro mudguards + running boards seem to do the job of protecting the paint. I haven't gotten any chips on the paint.
