TRD Pro reboot in the middle of a drive?

I was 1 hour into a 2-hour drive, and my entertainment system did a full reboot while driving. I didn't have anything special going, just GPS from Google Maps and Spotify — all on CarPlay. All of a sudden the entertainment system lost power, the car didn't? I am not sure if you have the hybrid, you know what I mean, you never know when it is in hybrid mode, unless you are parked for a while. It could have been the entire hybrid system? But I am unsure if anyone has experienced this before. Additionally, I am unclear whether the hybrid system powers the entertainment system or if it is connected to the car's main battery system.

in 8k miles of ownership I want to say its happened twice... was like huh what happened but didn't need to shut down and fully reboot to start working again so not too concerned

Oh I have a Pro. And I haven’t had this occur,

had my 14 4R do a complete reboot driving from base to town once.

not just the head unit but the whole vehicle shut off doing 75. just pulled over in the run off on the side of the road and restarted the vehicle.

brakes still worked, but i didnt pump them, i just gradually applied pressure never letting off until i stopped.


has never happened again in 11 yrs.
