Have a little under 3,000 miles on my ORP Hybrid and have started hearing this sound. It only happens when the vehicle is cold and goes away once it’s warmed up. Also only when it’s in drive and I come to a stop.

I’ve attached a video to this post.

Does anyone else experience this? Took it to the dealer and they said they couldn’t find anything even after showing them the video.

Might take it back and leave it for them overnight so they can look at it while it’s actually cold.

sounds like something is loose and the engine harmonic is vibrating it.

have it on our 23 tundra, still to this day i cannot find what is vibrating to cause the sound. it only happens at a very specific speed.

not sure if the tires (which are RT based and add to the vibration of the vehicle) and the very specific speed is causing a piece in the vehicle to squeak at a very specific harmonic.

ive pushed with my finger on several places and i cant find it from the drivers seat and its been 2 yrs.

that is definitely weird

you can attach a microphone kit to locate the noise

search for 'chassis ears' ain't super cheap (100 bucks for entry level)
but if the dealership gives you 'the hand', a couple cold days with this
can isolate the problem

I have this exact same noise on my TRD Pro. Were you ever able to figure it out?
