maybe we already have this info available but 275/70/18 Toyo at3 on trd pro wheels rub only on the mud flaps while turning. Figured I’d share this info to help someone else.

Good to know. That's the size I was planning on replacing the stock tires with.

Here is the poke. I did remove the mud flaps until I can find some flexible replacements because I do off road. Just building it up before I do. They are e rated and at 35 psi the bumps are amplified and they do make some noise. But the wife didn’t hate it so that’s a good thing. I plan to lift with replace the shocks and spring to soften the ride quality. Just gotta do research.

There are two different mudflap sizes. The TRD Pro mud flaps have a slimmer profile to reduce the rubbing compared to the standard mud flaps offered on the non-Pro (possibly Trailhunter) models.

I had the same issue. I got the TRD Pro OEM mud flaps that are wider & don't have the inner raised part, although they are expensive. You should get these generic wide mud flaps on Amazon, they are the same as wide mud flaps on Pro model for less than $60! Only difference is no "4RUNNER" text on rear flaps.

No rub after. Everything is smooth sailing!

I’m assuming they don’t flex for off roading ? I guess I can always take them off before hitting the trails.
