Thanks for the great info CBR. How much of a difference did you notice with just the 18" Wheels (before changing the shocks)?
Thanks!

tbh, I think the tires made a minimal difference compared to the shocksThanks for the great info CBR. How much of a difference did you notice with just the 18" Wheels (before changing the shocks)?
Interesting. I think im 70% set on on the fox but saw reviews about durability issues. Unless anyone has can vouch for an OME or eibach setup,Found this!
https://store.arbusa.com/coil-spring-set-rear-3344/
I believe it has a much lower spring rate compared to the OEM (180 ??)
This is a progressive spring, 114-160 lb/in
And fully compatible with Toyota's AVS since we don't swap out anything
Considering this for my Platinum
the OME kit comes with the 3344, I will probably start with that and see the difference before modifying too much with speculative results, I really like the AVS.Interesting. Mind keeping us posted if you decide going that route ?the OME kit comes with the 3344, I will probably start with that and see the difference before modifying too much with speculative results, I really like the AVS.
Iām switching from 20ā oem to 17ā 285/70r17 KO3 in C load next ThursdayMind keeping us posted if you decide going that route ?
Side note: what wheels are people running for primarily comfort? Love the aesthetic of the falken wildpeak at3w on my trd pro 18 wheels. But know its a sacrifice im willing to make if there is a significant impact to ride quality
I already bought the fox 2.0 from stage3 (they were on sale for $1499) but will try this before. Thanks !@hussch85 Got the KO3s, much better ride quality, I wonāt upgrade the suspension, it would be a downgrade imho https://www.4runner6g.com/forum/threads/ko3-rides-better-than-road-tiresā¦-didnāt-expect-this.9780/
Wish i saw this before. Ill try the fox and if no success might go this route. Thanks!I removed the AVS on my Limited and replaced with OME MT64 and the Icon .75ā lift rear coil spring. I set the front coilovers at 2.25ā lift which sits about 1/2ā high in the rear unloaded which works for me. Swapped the OEM 20ās for TRD Pro wheels with Milestar Patagonia A/T Pro 265/70R18. Iāve been very pleased with this setup over the OEM AVS. As others have commented, the difference between OEM AVS and aftermarket is the major reduction of jarring and sharp sensation over bumps. I still feel the bump but itās more of a rolling sensation versus a sharp hit. As far as the tires, this is my first set of Milestars, and very pleased with the ride/noise at highway speeds, time will tell about longevity.

My work changed to a much further commute and had to sell my limited, but after 6k miles it did get much better. You do get used to the ride. Actually miss it , went w a porsche taycan insteadWhen I ordered my 2026 limited, they didnāt have any limiteds to test drive. At the time no one had any in stock. I test drove an off road premium and it rode nice. I thought the limited would ride even better, boy was I wrong. I call it a torture chamber, I am getting beat up. Iām at 2500 miles and I donāt thing I can take much more of this. I just took my Golf R out of storage and I can drive it during the summer Which rides nice.
Iām wondering what to do with it, trade it or do you think the dealer would want to buy it back, since Heritage Blue limiteds are far and few. The problem for me is the drivetrain which I wonāt go into.
Nice upgrade my sil has a Taycan, I drove it it the colder months when they go to Florida. I just find the ride so punishing and after driving it I feel so beat up. I donāt know if I can hold out that long.My work changed to a much further commute and had to sell my limited, but after 6k miles it did get much better. You do get used to the ride. Yeah but needed to go full ev. The 16.6 mpg at 30k miles a year in cali takes a toll lolNice upgrade my sil has a Taycan, I drove it it the colder months when they go to Florida. I just find the ride so punishing and after driving it I feel so beat up. I donāt know if I can hold out that long.
