Thanks for the great info CBR. How much of a difference did you notice with just the 18" Wheels (before changing the shocks)?

Thanks!

Straight swap, no avs complications

tbh, I think the tires made a minimal difference compared to the shocks

Found this!
https://store.arbusa.com/coil-spring-set-rear-3344/
I believe it has a much lower spring rate compared to the OEM (180 ??)
This is a progressive spring, 114-160 lb/in
And fully compatible with Toyota's AVS since we don't swap out anything

Considering this for my Platinum
Interesting. I think im 70% set on on the fox but saw reviews about durability issues. Unless anyone has can vouch for an OME or eibach setup,

the OME kit comes with the 3344, I will probably start with that and see the difference before modifying too much with speculative results, I really like the AVS.

Mind keeping us posted if you decide going that route ?

Side note: what wheels are people running for primarily comfort? Love the aesthetic of the falken wildpeak at3w on my trd pro 18 wheels. But know its a sacrifice im willing to make if there is a significant impact to ride quality

I removed the AVS on my Limited and replaced with OME MT64 and the Icon .75” lift rear coil spring. I set the front coilovers at 2.25” lift which sits about 1/2” high in the rear unloaded which works for me. Swapped the OEM 20’s for TRD Pro wheels with Milestar Patagonia A/T Pro 265/70R18. I’ve been very pleased with this setup over the OEM AVS. As others have commented, the difference between OEM AVS and aftermarket is the major reduction of jarring and sharp sensation over bumps. I still feel the bump but it’s more of a rolling sensation versus a sharp hit. As far as the tires, this is my first set of Milestars, and very pleased with the ride/noise at highway speeds, time will tell about longevity.
