First time Toyota user here!

Remote connect thru the Toyota app has been working flawlessly until this afternoon. I actually even used it this morning before heading to work - but when showing people my car at work - of course the remote connect fails.

since then I have not been able to get it to lock/unlock or auto start the car. I have logged out and reinstalled the app. I reinstalled a digital key. I have restarted the phone and the car multiple times with toggling on and off Bluetooth/wifi and cellular. The car is parked and locked. The trunk is not open lol. It’s parked in a place I have successfully used the app before. It has enough gas.

The app is updating after rides with gas mileage and actual odometer mileage.
What can be done short of calling Toyota? Or is this common occurrence and just give it a few days to see if it connects again?
Attaching the screen shot so people can see the message I am continually getting.
I was going to delete and re-add the vehicle again but it said I would lose all my connected service trials so I was worried to do that…

Have you fully registered yet? I was so frustrated at just a few days in only to realize I had to enter a credit card that won’t be used for another year.

My remote connect was not working since I got the vehicle a month ago. The key fob worked but I could not use the app for remote starting etc. Finally today I got someone to walk me through the whole process and it works great now. Took about thirty minutes of my time so be patient. We did a complete reset.

My Connected services went down today. Have subscription until mid 2026. Restarted the car - nothing. Navigation, remote unlock - everything down. On phone rn w. Toyota (annoyed). Remember when sht just worked?

What was their solution/answer for the cause of this?

sounds like the issue's tundra had. most of the time you could have them resolve the issue if you pushed the sos button, just dont do the initial reply as an emergency and you will get routed to a non emergency tech to resolve the issue.

it's a known glitch. I tried the phone route and called Toyota and was told they'll call
me back because first line of support is damn useless. I fiddled with app and I fixed mine by adding a credit card to the app in subscription. just selected (Go Anywhere) which has remote connect and drive connect. - it wont charge until your free trial is over. (can cancel anytime). But it will refresh the system. That "glitch" just feels like a way for Toyota to get your cc on their system.. good thing about doing this is that you can opt out from driving data being sent to insurance providers / dealers.
