From the 2024 4Runner 6th Gen Owner's Manual:

Gas/Fuel Octane rating:
87 Octane (Research Octane Number 91) or higher

Engine Oil Grade:
0W-20

Outside temperature:
SAE 0W-20 is the best choice
for good fuel economy and good
starting in cold weather.
If SAE 0W-20 is not available,
SAE 5W-20 oil may be used.
However, it must be replaced
with SAE 0W-20 at the next oil
change.

Fuel / Gas Tank Capacity: 19.0 gal.

OP I know you didn't write the manual but why do they say to change out the 5W 20 at the next interval? Unless the weather is cold, its the number to the right that matters. Which, I feel is way too thin and is the recommendation in order to meet silly CARB restrictions or squeeze out as much MPG for the sticker as they can. I live in TX and am considering running 5W 30 after 15K miles, at least in the summer.

As for fuel, I run ethanol free 91 octane when I'm home cause it is easy to find. When I went out of state (To Oklahoma) I ran premium which was 93 and 91 octane cause the gas in Oklahoma is weird. Even in the DFW area, the only ethanol free gas you can get is 87 octane. Bummer, but I know its cheaper to squeeze out that perceived octane boost from corn ethanol so that is probably why.

In any case, I plan on running ethanol free as often as I can because I don't like running corn alcohol in a direct injection motor; especially turbo. In my opinion, 100% gasoline and frequent oil changes are the key to happiness and long life (Not for you, but for your engine).
