Brother, we’re on the same page 😂

Can you fit one of the same in under as a spare? What do you figure the diff in km/h is with the 18s?

I bought 2024 (4th gen ) Tacoma 17 inch trd off road wheels powder coated black to get rid of the silver wheel trim. This way I can run C load tires in 285/17/17. E load tires are like riding on rocks

Ready for winter in Southern Ontario. Snow is expected on Sunday

Swapped factory 20" rims for these TRD PRO 265/70/18, thanks to @RADHAUS
No rubbing, and slight variance on speedometer

I think the speedometer was designed for 33 inch tires because the trd pro, trd off road, and trail hunter come with them.

not going to bother with the spare, so i wouldn't know. and the spare doesn't match the OEMs i will use for summer anyways. i don't mind the 20's for summer use, but i do really like these Pro 18's for winter.

as for overall tire size: it's ~ 4% variance. so 100 km/hr on my speedometer with these specific tires is actually 104 km/hr, or at least that's what a radar gun might show...not keen on confirming that though. haha

you can have the speedometer adjusted, but i don't know if it's worth it as i only plan to use these seasonally. and i guess another impact is the vehicle will register about 4% less km travelled. 1000km on the odometer would actually be 1040 km.

Would it not be modified for the limited/platinum with 20” stock?
Final gear ratio is exactly the same across all trims.

I have a trd sport with 20” wheels 31.5 tall. Trims with 33s quite a stretch calling it a 33 when it’s 32.6 tall. Not much difference in height.

Hey Matt,

I went the other way around. Bought 4Gen Tacoma rims and saved my TRD Pro rims from the salt and corrosion. Still 265/70R18 size.
