Hello everyone!

I’m currently running a TikTok account under the username “Yotamerchant” where I turn my 2025 4Runner SR5 w PT4WD into the closest thing possible to the Trailhunter (obviously excluding the things like hybrid and lockers that aren’t as attainable). So far I’ve got the grille, the wheels, bronze overlays, upgraded air intake and hood struts. I think I want to try to install heated seats, a front camera, and find some headlights. Any ideas of more upgrades that bridge the gap between the Trailhunter and the SR5? Thank you!!!!

You’ll need an ARB rack that you can’t find any accessories for….Ill let you know when I pull mine off and put on a Westcott.

You can save a lot of money and build a better truck if you do it right.

Where did you get the heritage grill from ? Was is hard to change ?

medium difficulty to change just due to plastic clips and separating everything. actually not difficult, more so tedious and frustrating. I got it straight off of toyota PN 53101-35160 (the one with gray lettering off of trd is 53101-35170)

Yes John! that is accurate. Of course the SR5 logos stay on but i thought it would be a super fun project and also make good content

whats the issue with the ARB? of course my goal is to turn an sr5 into a faux trailhunter (excluding some major aspects like hybrid) but im not opposed to turning some parts into better than the Trailhunter (hood struts/apharex headlights)

totally understand and dont worry ill keep posting on here as well as I know lots of people dont use tiktok. I will say though that I will be running some giveaways for some very cool stuff in the next month over on Tiktok!

I guess ARB built this per specs from Toyota, so ARB offers zero support for what will or will not fit on the rack. Also appears the mounting options Toyota chose are next to zero supported by anything you want to mount up. Some folks on here have hacked some things together, but it ain't great.
