Had my OME MT64 lift installed today. Set the front at 2.25" and installed Dobinsons C59-885V rear springs. It has about half the rake than it did from the factory and rides smother than factory even with E rated tires...

This is a nice little mid lift that looks perfect on 275/70/18 tires while not going overboard. Super happy with this setup so far!

What's the reason with the Robinson springs over the OME 3344?

@2012BAJA Looks like the perfect setup. I'm thinking the MT64s for my truck but maybe even setting them at their lowest setting. Good to know that there's a solid 1" rear spring option. Thanks for sharing!

Wanted a bit less lift than OME Springs which are set for the front set at 3" of lift. Those springs would make it look like a stink bug with the front set at 2.25". lol

I have no 3rd row seating in this truck so the rears sit at about 1.70" taller than factory on my truck. I think 1.75" on the front would be a little on the low side for these springs.

Few more pics of the truck below and some set up specs... NYTOP front Bumper with BD SAE fog lights. Word of wise on the fogs make sure they are at the same angle when assembled. Lay them on a flat surface face down and run a ruler between the driver and passenger side mounts to see if they are at the same angle.

I also did a roof rack delete on it courtesy of SR5CampLife.

For wheels and tires I went with Raceline Rogue's in 18X8.5 with Good Year 275/70/18 Ultra terrains. I like the fact that these wheels are a bit narrower which works well for this tire size.

Last but not least I painted the NYTOP bumper in grey Steel-it along with the center section of the wheel center caps to match.. Any way loving this set up and honestly I do not miss my 5th gen with this motor and trans combo!

Would you consider the C59-885V or 3344 "alone" as a starter to soften road imperfections?
Do you have the specs for Toyota's OEM shock?
I can't even find the specs for the C59-885V on the official website, how did you figure the lift and spring rate?

I used Exit offroad for spring lifts https://exitoffroad.com/product/dobinsons-rear-coil-spring-options-toyota-4runner-2025/

I have no Idea on the 3344s just did not want that amount of lift they have so I went with the Dobinson's. No idea on the specs on toyota shocks but my 4runner is less bouncy with the OME MT64's and rides about the same maybe a tad bit smoother but hard to tell on 10 plys...

You need some gold/bronze center caps. Would look so good.

Nicely done! Can you tell me which clip setting you used on the front to achieve the 2.25” lift.

I do like the bronze but wanted to try something different since the trail hunters have the green and bronze. Plus I have a lot of Steel-it paint in my garage so I just went that route...

There are 6 slots so from the top setting down it's #4. I wish I would have set them at 2.5" but the wife said it was tall enough lol... Plus it's her daily...

Looks great and I think you’re really going to like the OME suspension. I’ve taken the TH through Hidden Falls climbs, rock gardens & steps in Ruidoso and running the National Seashore - the stock OME handled it all surprisingly well. Day to day it smooths out rough FM roads - my commute. Appreciate the info on the Dobinsons - I do worry about the rear sagging as I add weight.

Hope so! I live in CC TX so its going to spend a lot of time on the National Seashore for fall fishing. How are you liking your Trail Hunter? I have yet to see one or a TRD pro for that matter...

Thanks for the information, I’m having mine installed in 3 weeks. If you have a chance can you please measure from the center of the wheel hub to the bottom of the fender flare as I’m trying to level it out so I would like to see what you got in case I have to bring it down a notch. I have the same set up with the NYTOP bumper, so we have pretty much the same weight up front. I appreciate it, thanks.

CC - very cool! You’re gonna spend a lot of time running the beach. My wife is from CC so we’re down periodically for the family thing. TH is great so far, but I like the idea of making my own build too so I think you’re on the right track. Are you going to undercoat? I was thinking about Ziebart. Used that before when I was stationed down there and it seemed to help.

It's just a bit over 22.5" from center to bottom of fenders on level ground. Hope this helps!

Wow that looks great in white! For undercoating I have used Amsoil HD on my last 5 trucks and love it. It takes a bit for it to set up but works great. Builds are fun but I tend to snowball them so I am trying to stay modest on this one... For fun times I have another rig that is a never ending build... lol...
