I've already cashed in a future birthday and this year's Christmas present on ceramic coating and front-side PPF. Now I gotta get an advance on Christmas 2026 to sell my wife on tail lights. She'd ban me from this forum if she knew I was getting all these mod ideas from here. She's still asking why I had to get Lasfit floor mats over the OEM all weather mats.

These lights look so good. Maybe I can get them delivered to work and install there and hope she never notices the difference.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I love the look of the red/black "non-premium" taillights. Glad they're fully LED. However, when it comes to headlights the premium ones are undoubtedly way nicer! I just wish they weren't so absurdly expensive.

These look great with your silver paint though! Enjoy :)

As for parts, it's absolutely worthwhile to look around at different dealerships' prices online - I've been able to save almost 50% on some parts compared to MSRP. I can vouch for Ourisman Toyota (no affiliation, they've just ended up being the cheapest for my last few parts orders and have been quick to ship + haven't made any mistakes).

Nice! Looks great! I did the same thing.

I don’t know if that approach works for every/all parts, but it works for many of them. That’s how I got the tail lights too (took me forever to find the part number for the passenger side one). I also got the red front tow hooks this way. I will do the same for skid plates.
So I was going to do that for the skid plates. the problem is shipping was very expensive for skid plates. My local already had a good deal, not the best. I waited until the Toyota store had a sale. ended up getting a decent deal for my local dealer plus the extra $100 off. For a Lighter product that will probably be less shipping it is best to shop around. Usually a quick Google search finds you the best deal without having to look up a bunch of dealers.

Good call on the shipping for something heavy like skid plates! I hadn’t made it far enough in the process to see what that figure would be. :]

They’re way more aesthetically pleasing than those bright red ones. IMO

Any who… was gonna order the ones from Rave Off Road for $1k. Till I found out I can order them directly from Toyota online store. And found them for $700! Little hack I noticed on accident… don’t select your local dealership as the supplier(unless they got the best deal). I live in Florida and I found one in North Carolina that had them 31% off. Found dozens that were between 15% and 28%

I browsed for a few hours in multiple states. I wonder if this works for all parts?

Part numbers:

81561-35420 (driver side)
81551-35420 (passenger side)

Those look so much better.

You won't get the NYTOP carbon fiber fender flares to go with everything else you're doing!
