NYTOP Axle Dump (axle-back) Exhaust installed w/ sound clip video

Not my Trailhunter, but thought this @NYTOP Axle Dump (axle back) Exhaust install and sound clip would be helpful feedback to other owners:

I didn’t like how the TrailHunter came with the regular exhaust that hung down pretty low (even though it did have the slash cut on it for clearance). I wanted a little more clearance for when I start wheelin it in the spring. ​

The sound is actually a little louder than I expected (I didn’t think the little muffler at the end would actually do much). It is not in anyway too loud. It gives it a slightly louder, deeper tone that actually sounds pretty good for it being a 4cyl.​

love the concept but the sound at my age i have come to hate now for some odd reason.

It’s one thing sounding cool sitting there, but how is it at 70mph on a road trip? I once rented an FJCruiser that had the factory Toyota performance exhaust, and the droning of that on the fwy was awful.

For me it’s more that the $$$ spent just gives a subjectively better/worse sounding result and no performance benefit.

IMO, and just my opinion who loves tinkering with headers/exhausts, etc, I would not spend the money on a 4-banger 4R. On this truck, and I can't believe I'm saying this, it's better off silent. Even though the iforcemax has plenty of power, the engine always sounds like it's struggling when you give it throttle.

I love my Pro, but it sounds like sh*t. Nothing you can do to change it. All this does is amplify a sh*tty sound.

Agree. I honestly hate the sound of this motor, and it’s even worse in Sport mode. Love the rest of it but man that sound is just bad.
