Does the black clamp fit over your pipe?

I have the Pro and I was able to make that fit. At first it seemed like it was way too small but the pipe being cut at an angle makes it seem like it is way bigger than it is. I simply spread the expansion notches just a little with a vise and it resulted in “what seemed like” huge gains. Then the tip slid right on the pipe and I clamped in place.
It did not 😕 not wide enough. Just the tip 🫢

I just measured using a caliper on a 2025 4runner trd pro exhaust tailpipe. It measured 2 3/4 inch diameter. All other 2025 4runners have a exhaust tailpipe diameter is 3 3/16 inches. One quick way to tell is standard factory installed exhaust system has a resonator just before the tailpipe. The pro performance exhaust does not. Another way to tell is the tailpipe angle cut. The pro has less of a angle cut than the factory standard exhaust on all other 2025 4runners which is pretty noticeable and long.
Now I have seen a brand new Sport Premium with the TRD Pro performance exhaust on the vehicle and optioned on the window sticker.
This is why people are having trouble with the black exhaust tips fitting.
