That price includes installation, right? Because if not LOL

Additional info:

PTCCY-89320 is for hybrid models - MSRP $2999 (On sale online for $2700 before any coupons)

Yeah he literally said "this is for just the parts" and gave me those numbers lmao. $2700 is interesting, but same price(ish) as OME, and Icon stage 2... hmmm. I feel like the TRD kit is more likely to hold resale value vs third party parts... Not sure how they all stack up performance and ride quality wise. I am just looking to soften the ride, not really lift it much.

That comes up as tundra lift kit.

I’m in a TRD Pro 4Runner. The Suspension it comes with is nice.

FWIW it can be had a bit cheaper. Here is Hybrid version PTCCY-89320 that I might consider vs the OME MT64 #2135: TRD 2.5" 4runner hybrid lift kit (Toyota Roanoke Rapids). This dealer is my new go-to because they have good discounts, give an additional 5% for logging in and they ship for free.
Its giving me a total with tax of $2630.
Alas, for whatever reason the "ship to me" button is not working so maybe not an option - perhaps dealer installation is required? I'm going to ask my local dealer what the OTD price would be for their install.

Since this package seems very new and is hard to find even with the number (thanks for that, OP), I suspect that it may take time to get the part. (BTW, the Tundra lift kit is a different number. There are several variations, including PTCCY-34310 which is what the first google entry was when I searched on PTCCY-89320)

I also wonder if the brake line spacer kit and rear sway bar spacer kit that seem to be required for the OME would also be needed for the TRD kit.

I can get 10% off the OME #2135 so about $3.1K with tax plus shipping. I suspect that the OME is "better" in some objective ways but I don't know that. Wish I had more objective analysis about the design of the springs and shocks in these two kits. And would the shocks in the TRD kit actually be an upgrade to my TRD OR Bilstein's? (which I am happy with, notwithstanding the complaints about the ride that many on this forum describe).

Anyone who pulls the trigger, please post here!

Ok this makes me ask a question I asked before and didn’t get a good answer too. How does the TRD upper control arm compare to other aftermarket ones? They obviously are being considered acceptable for 2.5” lift by Toyota.

The only concern with this kit is does it help with higher weigh loads or is for stock loads.

The UCA appears to be the same cast aluminum version as the PRO/Thunter. Vs tubular steel for the OME kit I'm considering.
I don't know which is "better "
I'm guessing the advertised lift heights are for stock weight but it would be nice to have more info.

UCA’s on the TH are forged billet aluminum - significantly stronger than cast. Can’t speak to the Pro since I don’t own one, but from appearances they look like the same material.

Thanks for the correction. Am fairly certain that PRO and Trailhunter have same UCA except color. And the lift kit UCA looks the same, again except color.

It does - just don’t have the Pro so I haven’t spent much time looking at specs for it. I can tell you that if you’re looking at OME suspensions, the TH OME (similar to the OME BP 51 but not identical) has performed flawlessly up to small/moderate rock gardens and steps. I think the MT64 will give you the ability to make preload adjustments to the front which the TH lacks. Kinda wish Toyota would have done that but really zero complaints.

I know from that same shop that posted the video about the build and the wheels they had a video on UCA and there 3 color ways. The red from PRO, bronze from trailehunter and a silver one. I was looking at silver ones for upgraded UCA when I did lift.
