Nice setup man. Do you leave the cover on or off? Is there a good amount of the turbo sound?
I tried it both ways and decided to leave it off. It resulted in a bit more turbo sound without it being obnoxious.
My setup provided all the Banks advertised benefits. Better throttle response, more turbo sound, and more horsepower without question. Great value and easy DIY installation.
If you do the CAI or boost tubes, just be sure to check the filter sealing surfaces and check/retighten the tube clamps. I didn't have any but leaks are bad news.

Yeah, I'm planning on doing the Banks CAI. I already have the SXTH tubes and inlet.

From the data provided, it truly seems that Banks is the way to go with the CAI.

Thanks for the tips on install! Truly appreciate it!

On the boost tubes the clamps as you tighten they will want to creep off of the silicon couplers creating a boost leak, so make sure they stay in position as you tighten them

Hey, watching Gale Banks' intake shootout where he puts the SXTH, K&N, and factory boxes on the flow bench and compares mass flow density, he calls out the box sealing design and filter surface restriction. When you guys benchmarked your CPLT box, how did your logged intake manifold air density (MAD) and sustained IATs compare to stock on heat-soaked pulls? Is your design prioritized around lowering turbo inlet depression at peak RPM, or was the primary objective acoustic response and spool uncorking on the factory ECU calibration?

Hey there! The primary objective is everything you mentioned. We aimed to put the largest filter we had available at the time (late 2024) and smooth tubing with a large airbox. Just getting a big filter in there with an airbox that utilizes the OEM air entry points will achieve everything you just mentioned. The bigger air filter with larger surface area, large entry diameter into the tube and our tube shape all aid in our advertised power gains.

Balancing these changes with maintaining OEM fuel trims is also a task as well. Too big of a tube and you can make the ECU upset and get a CEL.

We monitor our own temperature logging equipment and just make sure it is not performing worse than OEM and if it improves over that, then that's great! If we happened to dyno our part and it performs worse than OEM, then we would revise and monitor things that we believe made it that way. Our initial design tested really well on the dyno and later held up to scrutiny during on road driving and monitoring temperatures during all aspects of our daily commutes here.

We did not observe any detrimental temp differences when observing on road driving.
There is a lot less airflow into the engine bay when we dyno, and dyno testing with the hood up is also just not helpful when collecting temperature data. It helps visualize some behavior of the systems but that is also while we watch it on the actual road as well.

Banks makes a good product, no doubt. But there comes a point where power just doesn't scale with added flow and reduced restriction and no matter how big the tube or filter is, added power will just cap at a certain point.

I would like to see an actual dyno chart from them right off the machine, vs the graphic designer interpretation. Something like CAMTuning did as a 3rd party tester who tested their intake and ours on the same day on the same truck but got different results than they did.
