I purchased a set of Lasfit switchback rock lights. The kit came with a harness for power connection which includes an inline fuse and toggle switch to change from amber to white and vise-versa. I plan to remove most of it and wire into my switch panel. One color lead would wire to one switch with ground and the second to a separate switch (no ground needed). My concern is what would happen if I energize both switches at once. Would both sets if LED's just come on? I haven't read through all of the instructions yet. Maybe I should just try it and see but, has anyone out there installed these that might know the answer?

I have not installed but did consider buying diode dynamic rock lights at one point that could switch from white to red. I have a Diode Dynamics switch panel. I messaged them about wiring and they said exactly what you said. Wire one color to one channel and the other to another. No clue about what if you hit both at the same time but not sure why you’d do that anyhow.

I agree but it could happen unintentionally. I'll see what happens and report back. I can't imagine it would hurt anything plus fuses would protect the circuit if it overloads. Thanks for the quick response!

Can you get a two way switch for your switch panel. That way, it would be one or the other color, both would not be possible.

might create a heat issue if both on.

I think best is to just not turn them on together. I will look into other options and appreciate the idea of a 2-way switch.

For anyone interested, here is how I installed the Lasfit rock lights on my '25 ORP plus some pictures.
Mounted two pods under each running board inside of the front and rear support brackets. The front ones were tight but the pods fit perfect in the rears. Had to turn them perpendicular but seems to still work well plus they are very well protected by the brackets. Chased the cables along the boards inside channels then to the frame and along the frame cross member (for passenger side cables). Then tied them together and ran up through the driver side engine cavity under the brake master cylinder. Extra cable is coiled and tied in the void between the EUC and driver side fuse box. Cut off the battery connection cable from main cable and ran the remaining three wire cable across in front of radiator and down the passenger side to my switch panel located on a mounting bracket over the battery. Connected the yellow wire (amber light option) and black wire (ground) to one switch and the red wire (white light option) to another switch.
Ordered two more pods to add to the center running board brackets. The cable supplied with the four pod kit has plugs for up to eight pods. May add two more later.
Very happy so far with how it turned out.
