JOYTUTUS (Amazon) Rear Window Molle Panels installed

Installed these Amazon rear window molle panels today. Not bad for the price. Mine arrived damaged on the ends but this is because the amazon driver was man handling them at drop off. We watched them drop the whole box on camera. Install was easy. They do mount to the rear cross bar holes so it forces the rear up so that it’s really only pressure fitted in this position. I don’t have a good baseline for what good is as these are my first exterior molle panels.

Now I can finally store my wife’s and my important, daily gear.

I've been looking for something like this. Are you using a ARB base rack?
Can you please give me a closeup of how these are attached. Thank you.

No ARB rack for me sadly. These mount right to the standard roof rails. They use the rear cross bar holes, with three torx screws inserted from the outside/main panel.

The bottom of each has two suction cups that hold the panels to the windows.

Hows the visibility through the window while in the car? I assume it makes it into a real blind spot?

Is there a downside to having the crossbars more forward? I dont use crossbars for anything so i dont know if there's a downside

Can’t see anything out of the rear sides with them but I’m using a Wolfbox rearview so I don’t have a good baseline for the visibility loss. I’ll admit that the cross bar being more forward looks a little off to me, but that might be because I’m looking for it specifically. The rear one no longer has holes to line up with this far forward. You could always drill one I guess, it’s still pretty tight though.
