JBL Stereo Rattling and vibration

TRD Pro w 2500 miles. The rattling and vibration on the speakers is unbearable. Volume only in the 20’s maybe low 30’s. Have tried to adjust the bass, treble, and mids in every configuration. The dealer says it’s a know sporadic issue that they can’t do anything about. It’s not a recall at this point bc not enough reported issues. If you have issues please report. I almost can’t even listen to radio. It’s occurring on Apple car play as well as FM radio

If you want it gone that bad take it to an auto shop pay have them fix it. Sucks but it will work.

Won’t ever become a recall for Toyota to pay and fix it. It sucks but just take it to a shop, they will fix it and it’s a good time to add some sound deadening and you’ll have a enjoyable truck in just a days work.

Check out soundskins and also try disabling ANC.

It works for sure… however I could turn bass all the way down, play something w no bass, volume setting at 25 and still experience rattling

Hi skuds123 -lots of post on this subject. I had the same problem two days after buying the 4R. Here's a video shot by the Toyota tech that resolved the issue. Take it to the dealer show them the video and have them fix it. C/G

If your dealer tells you there is nothing they can do until Toyota issue a recall you need a different dealer! They just blew you off because they don't want nothing but easy work.

Agree! It’s my local dealer. They could not allocate the PRO for me originally so I had to travel to pick it up. The local dealer I felt didn’t even do anything bc I was out of there in an hour
