you think thereās any brand new cars coming out that are as of the quality they were 10 plus years ago? haha. A new jeep would have 10x the issues that a new 4runner would have Iād bet my house on it.
just the way itās designed. I personally think even pushing it to 5k miles between changes is a lot. Iām doing every 3ish. itās cheap so better to be safe and get a little piece of mind hoping this engine holds up alright later in its years.
@Wolfbox would work perfect for this. I donāt have a spare tire carrier but I do have the wolfbox tripro and I know for sure it would work just great. My rear camera for the wolfbox is mounted up underneath by the 3rd brake light. you would easily see over the tire and itās adjustable
most new paint from factory is bad. I had a full paint correction done right away, PPF the front end and ceramic on the rest. night and day difference. worth the couple grand.
engine noise enhancement. itās always on unless you use a plug in system to turn it off. I have the Carista and turned it off along with a few other things. So worth it
Wonāt ever become a recall for Toyota to pay and fix it. It sucks but just take it to a shop, they will fix it and itās a good time to add some sound deadening and youāll have a enjoyable truck in just a days work.
Yeah thatās different. Thatās what the noise cancellation does, eliminates steady sounds like a vibration or exhuast drone if ita present. I should have been more clear in my original post that the engine enhancement was the cause of my ticking sound. I just happend to turn both off
itās not the fuel injector tick that people mention. One thousand percent turning off the ESE got rid of it. you can still hear that tick very very faintly but it was magnified big time with that setting
Hey guys, a couple weeks ago I saw a thread that I canāt find again talking about a strange sound when under light acceleration. Kind of sounds like a cicada bug ticking sound. I figured out last night. Recently bought a Carista evo and when I was going through doing customization I turned off...
Running two different tires wonāt be recommended by many. If it were me I would sell all those and just buy some new quality tires. small price for good quality, ride, safety and warranty from a reputable shop.
Got a green one today. Of all the lights Iāve bought over the years at HF , this is one model Iāve never bought. Very nice quality. Keep an eye out for when these hit a sale. HF has a parking lot sale starting March 2nd-8 but these arenāt in there this time unfortunately. Still worth the small...
Fit is great. You can tell itās like a 3D printed piece so it wont match perfectly. Different texture than the fender. You can paint yours and im sure it would look good. Cheap investment and will do its job which is plugging the hole.
