Has anyone done any mods to the interior stock lighting? The lighting in my 5th gen is so much brighter than my 6th. Thanks in advance.

Yeah the interior lights in the cab and the tailgate are TERRIBLE!!!! Don’t even get me started about the plastic ….
Any updates on this? Has anyone come out with more powerful bulbs?
right now i dont think its more brighter bulbs but what bulb code is to fit in the various sockets.
right now i like to have some plug and play bulbs to drop into each socket than doing a full on replacement hardware like i have seen some people do.
pull out oem bulb and slide in a new bulb. not hack a whole new console to get brighter lights.

Yeah I’ve seen the ones where you have to change out a bunch of hardware but Diode Dynamics usually makes some brighter direct fit bulbs that are higher output than the factory ones. Just haven’t seen any on the market yet.
i would expect vleds or retrofit source or headlight revolution to come out with some kits
