The OEM headlights of ORP are pathetic and makes no difference when on high or low beams. Has anyone moved on with after market options. What did you get and how has that worked for you.
It happens to me when I keep the hatch open for long durations. Sometimes days together in my garage. This is what I do and it works every single time. Slowly push it down to force close. Then it starts working again, as of nothing ever happened.
What is this connection, it goes no where in my gas only ORP. It goes no where from this point, connects with nothing. Its located close to the firewall. There are two other closer to the radiator that go no where as well. Can anyone tell what these are for.
Is buying from other states an option? You may find low PIO or no PIO vehicles. Involves travel but thats still cheaper than paying for PIOs that you don't need.
Over 4200 miles. I reset at every tank full. Always 87. 50-50 city highway on eco mode. Very conservative drive style, getting 24 MPG and higher on each tank. Accelerate slowly, anticipate braking and allow to slow down by coasting. Drive speed max 55-60 MPH. In all very boring drive style but...
The rear door of the ORP is staying open. Pressing the close button at the rear gate and the key fob does nothing more than beeping. Anyone knows if the door closing mechanism is kaputs. Anything I can do more than driving to the service center with the door open. Please advise.
I would need a dash cam system installed both in the front and the rear. Is there a vendor currently selling a package tailor made for the 6th Gen? Do not want to see hanging wires around the cabin. Please advise.
I purchased the 4runner because it is made in Tahara. It’s the best auto plant in the world. Build quality will be a reflection of their work culture.
I store some tools and microfiber towels in one side and a first aid kit in another. Very helpful as they remain above the chaotic storage conditions below.
The 6th gen 4runner came in with plush black carpet installed on the floor. Where can I find the same carpet/ fabric material. Wanting to use the same on the plywood bed I am making to take during car camping trips. Any help is appreciated.
Your mod looks great. Looks very professionally done. Did you do it yourself? How difficult was taking off the old grille and replacing with the new. Any electrical wiring issue to be addressed?
Hello,
Planning to install a few aux lights on my ORP gas model. Want to have them hardwired to the aux switches provided in the dash. Any suggestion how I may wire them or if they are already wired.
I bled around 5psi from my ORP tires after I took delivery of the vehicle. At low speeds the road feedback is lot more than when its 50+ MPH. Drove at 80+ speeds for long duration and the ride quality was just great. Also on gravel and trails it was awesome.
The ORP wheels come with +55 offset, while the TRD pro has +20 off set. Will replacing the wheels of an ORP with the full black wheels of TRD pro change the offset?
I would like to keep the +55 offset but would want full black wheels similar to the ones in TRD Pro. Please advise.
