Thatās insane. That is 2x the cost of a normal PPF job. Do NOT give them your money, thereās gotta be another more reputable place that wonāt try and rip you off.
There is wind noise but itās not noticeable to me anymore. With the sunroof shade closed it helps block most of it out. Then again, anything you add to a roof rack is going to create wind noise, just depends on how much youāre willing to tolerate. At 75 itās still comfortable in the cabin to...

All about lighting, perspective. When itās dirty it just looks dirty. When itās clean the black gloss fenders help the satin pop more.
The strips down the sides of the windshield are wire hiders from Baja Designs. The light bar is a dual control so the amber and white lights operate on separate circuits. I also have work lights on both sides of the truck and rear backup lights so the wire hiders help hide the harnesses from all...

Iāve seen guys coat their engine bays in degreaser and spray it down with out issue. You just need to give it time to dry before starting it back up. Most of the components that would get damaged from water are air tight, just make sure you donāt spray anything in the air inlet for the air box...
Try Ark Splash Guards for the front wheel wells. Quit a bit of opening there and the splash guards should prevent a lot of that spray from reaching the engine bay.
