These number appear when the windshield is foggy or wet. I've tried goo gone, degreaser, alcohol. None of it has worked so far. Anyone have another method?

The first thing I do to every new vehicle is use a good glass polish and sealant.

Use this first:
Amazon.com: Invisible Glass 91411 Glass Stripper Water Spot Remover Kit – Cerium Oxide Based Auto Glass Polish for Windshields, Hard Water Spots, Road Films & Old Coatings – 4 Fl Oz : Automotive

And I'm using this, and have been very happy for the past two months:
Amazon.com: SOFT99 Ultra Glaco Long Lasting Windshield Glass Water Rain Repellent 70ml : Automotive

Soft99 makes a glass stripper as well, I've used it, but I prefer the Invisible Glass product, FYI.

If you have any questions, let me know.

Thank you so much!! You saved me alot of headache. I actually had a similar product to what you recommended here that removes water spots. I never thought to try that for some reason. Worked like a charm. Mr cleaner magic eraser wouldn't take these off but the water spot cleaner did. Thanks again!!!

Assuming you don't have the inside tinted yet, running a straight razor blade of the glass could help as well. Inside and out, not sure where they used to be.

I have my driver and passenger side windows tinted, but not gonna do the windshield. A razor may have worked too, I didn't try that, but the water spot cleaner ended up taking it off in 30 seconds.

I would demand the dealer fix it prior to purchase.
If it were rainy, or my windshield was foggy that day I would have. They were ghosted in there. Only visible under those 2 conditions.

Luckily someone on here offered some solid advice and it took all of about 30 seconds to get it off using their method.

try and brand new razor blade first. if that doesn't fix it; a glass polish compound will get it off.

Thanks!! Water spot remover made quick work of it though. Had some sitting around and never thought to use it.
