How to Attach Camp Kitchen to ARB Rack

I’m noodling how to hang a camp kitchen bag from the roof rack with some kind of backer board to extend it out and keep it from resting on the window or door. Maybe awning brackets?

Maybe put pool noodle or two on the back of the bag to rest between the bag and window and hang it from the rack?
