I have noticed this same sound in my 300 mile SR5. Is this something to be concerned about or is it just annoying at low speeds? Do we know what component is producing the sound?
I might have missed it, but is the sound there with windows up or down?

Sound with the windows down. No AC on.
It's so darn hot in Texas right now....but I'll try early in the am and see if I catch a hiss of that from my TH.

Here is a video I took today. Very difficult as there is some wind sound.
If you listen very closely you can hear the sound. Almost like crickets.

Quite strange.... I did some driving today a lower speeds and wdw down and I cannot hear a thing.
I wonder if it's exhaust related or suspension?

Thanks for trying today.

Did you happen to hear the sound in my video?
Barely hear something that sounds like tire road noise... I did some short accelerations this morning and nothing, just some engine sounds.
Maybe way out there, but I had my 3rd gen do some clicking sounds a while back al low speeds and it turned out one of the U joints needed grease.... It only did it in low speed acceleration and engine braking.

can confirm i have this same issue (electrical buzzing noise when throttle is open), sounds like it has to do with the electronic throttle body.

I found this forum while trying to figure out what this noise was. I can hear it during start up, idle, and light acceleration. Any chance you figured out what is causing the noise?

SR5 with less than 300 miles. I can't pinpoint where the noise is coming from either, but here is some video/audio.

My service manager told me the cicada buzzing sound coming from under the chassis is the high pressure fuel pump. It's different from the chirping sound I hear from further up by the front wheels, and only happens when accelerating FWIW.

That is interesting. Is it something that can be replaced to stop the noise?

My guy didn't seemed too concerned about it. He drives a '25 TRD Pro 4Runner himself and says his makes the same sound and he hasn't been worried about it at all. Not sure how much of that was Toyota employee speak, but he genuinely didn't seemed too worried when he heard it on my ORP. He was actually the one that pointed the noise out to me FWIW.
