Glacier Ice Wrap on our Platinum + custom dash cover

I'm still pretty new hear. Ordered our Platinum 4Runner on July 3rd from Milton Reuben Toyota in Augusta, Georgia. Tried for months on visor.vin to land one earlier. They always had deposits within the first day. I lucked out finding it within an hour of it being posted.

We decided to pick it up ourselves on August 7th, as the dealer had been scammed on a delivery and wouldn't allow us that option. We made a vacation out of it: Augusta to Salt Lake City. Made a fun vacation out of it. Took it easy all the way; had an oil change in Colorado, and got home August 13th without incident.

When shopping for the 4Runner in January, we saw lighter colored versions of the heritage blue, and loved it. However, it seems the shade turned darker, which wasn't our favorite. I saw a 2024 Ford Bronco in "Robin Egg Blue with white trim" and decided since this may be our last vehicle (I'm 72), let's do it exactly as we want it.

We found a great outfit in Bountiful, Utah: SunTint Accessories. We fell in love with the Glacier Ice Wrap. Not sure if I can post a link, but I'll try. They used ours for a recent ad. We also did a personalized dash cover as the heat on the dash coming back from Georgia was quite hot. With the new cover, it's wonderful inside.

Colors are always a subjective thing as for likes/dislikes, but we've had so many wonderful comments in stores and gas stations, etc. Hope you like it. We are just loving it.

I would just add that we had no choice on the tires and worried a bit on having the larger Nitto Tires. What a pleasant surprise. They drove like our GV80.

Congrats! Looks great! Would love to see more images of it! Are the tires 275/55/20? Pretty sure that’s what all the SET dealers are putting on most platinums!

I want to put bigger tires on mine right away when it arrives in a few weeks.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, the original was the Wind Chill Pearl White, and the tires were 20" Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I forgot to post the picture of the dash cover. Hope you like it. Made by dashdesigns.com. Hope you like it!

Good call, I imagine it helps quite a bit. I’ve had dark vehicles here in TX, brutal at times.
